Taking the time to listen to your clients

In life and in business you have to remember to slow down and truly take in what is going on around you.  This happened recently with a client.  In our quest to do the very best we could in a timely manner, I had to slow down and truly listen to what she was saying.   Most importantly because, in not doing so, it was creating more stress in a very tough transition.  At Caring Transitions the entire team focuses on the client and each staff member brings their unique communication style and skill set to the table.  

What's most important is that we are learning each day on how to tailor that style to even better meet the needs of our clients.  

Yesterday we visited with the wonderful staff at Prairie Hills Senior Living Communities in Independence http://www.prairiehills.com/.  We were able to learn about their residents and really listened to the needs of their staff and facility.  Caring Transitions takes great pride in reaching out to all communities in Northeast Iowa.  It doesn't matter the income, stature in the community, level of intelligence or ability, we pride ourselves on helping every client with honesty, integrity and respect.
